Custom Design Process

Whether you're looking for a personalized engagement ring or a one-of-a-kind statement piece, our custom design process ensures that every detail is tailored to your specifications.

Initial Consultation: 

The first step in our custom design process is a consultation with me. During this meeting, we will discuss your ideas, preferences, and budget. We will also provide guidance and suggestions based on our expertise to help you create a design that reflects your style and personality.

All custom projects have a $2,000 minimum.

Concept Development: 

After the initial consultation, I will create a concept sketch or digital rendering of your custom piece. This will give you a visual representation of how the final product will look. We will work closely with you to make any necessary revisions or adjustments until you are completely satisfied with the design.

Material Selection:

Once the design is finalized, we will guide you in selecting the materials for your custom piece. Sourcing the stones for your ring is one of the most exciting parts of the design process. It also influences the overall design. I work in a variety of metals, for custom work I cast in 14k and 18kyellow and rose gold as well as palladium and platinum. 

Crafting Your Piece:

Finally- Here comes the really fun part. Once design is approved and materials are selected- I start on creating the model for your final piece.  Using traditional techniques (wax carving) and modern technology (CAD), I will carefully shape, solder, and set the materials to bring your design to life. Before your model is cast into metal I will send you a final approval. 

Final Inspection and Delivery:

Once your custom piece is completed, it undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure that it meets our quality standards. We will then contact you to arrange for delivery or pickup. We offer secure shipping options for both domestic and international customers, with shipping costs varying based on location.
